Whose rules
The shop's rules and each stylist's
Four of us share a room, and each runs an independent business. This is who decides what.
The shop's
Booking, deposits, notice, running late, patch tests and children are the shop's policies. They are the same for all four of us, and they are below.

Booking and deposits
Book on the booking page or call the shop. Long services (color over two hours, twists and braids) take a deposit that holds your stylist's time and goes toward your service. New clients start with a consultation, and returning clients can book most services directly. We take new clients with all four stylists.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move an appointment, and 48 hours for services over three hours. If you are running late, call or text the shop: your stylist will do what the time allows, or rebook you.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss an appointment without a word, the deposit stays with your stylist and we ask for a new one to rebook. It happens, and we would rather hear from you before it does.
Children and companions
Children are welcome when they are having a service. For everyone else, one guest can wait with you, so the room stays calm for people in long appointments.
Patch tests and allergies
Some color products call for a patch test before your first color visit, following the maker's directions. We tell you when you book and set up a short visit for it. If you have ever reacted to a hair product, tell us first. This isn't medical advice: for a reaction, see your doctor.
If you're not happy
If you're not happy with your hair, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Results vary with hair type, history and care, which is why we talk about what's realistic at your consultation.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. Leave one at the desk or when you pay, and it goes to the stylist who did your hair.
Before your visit
Arrive ten minutes early. For color, come with the hair you usually wear. For braids and twists, come with clean, detangled hair if your stylist asks. Bring photos of looks you like.
